Nicole Hunt for Elizabeth School Board: Advocate for Parental Rights

Nicole Hunt is an attorney, community leader, and mother committed to serving the Elizabeth School District with clarity, principle, and purpose. A strong advocate for parental rights, she believes in the vital partnership between families and schools. As she runs for the Elizabeth School Board, Nicole aims to advance policies that reflect Elbert County’s rural character, dedication to academic excellence, and respect for parental rights. 

Previously, Nicole served on the Douglas County Planning Commission and was appointed to the Douglas County School Safety and Protection Committee after the STEM school shooting. Currently, she is a member of the Elbert County Planning Commission, where she leverages her legal training to review complex proposals and recommend solutions that align with public input and local values.

As a mother of school-aged children who attend a mix of public charter and private schools, Nicole is a strong supporter of parental rights, transparent school governance, and local control. She aligns herself with Conservatives for Kids and promotes a return to foundational academics, believing that students excel when families are empowered and classrooms are safe.

Nicole wholeheartedly supports the Board’s initiatives to restore foundational academics, protect community-based decision-making, and manage district resources effectively.
